Hi guys! I have an update:

Even though I just started this blog with the intent of starting adulthood and a big girl job in New York City, I am already switching gears. I will still be pursuing a big girl job but I will no longer be moving to the Big Apple. Sad :/ Yes, while I’ve dreamt of living in NY for the past eight years, I am putting the move on hold. The reason being a different job opportunity. After a lot of trial and tribulation this past year, I landed my dream job! SO EXCITING AHH! I thought the opportunity had passed but it presented itself again and I honestly can’t pass it up. It puts me in the industry I want to be in and I think I will grow a lot at this company. So… with that said… I am going to become a California girl! 

I’ve been to California several times (I actually lived there as a toddler), but it is quite a change from New York. The vibe is so different. I will be trading the commuter, hustle and bustle culture for crazy traffic but a more laid back, sun-loving lifestyle. I am unfamiliar with the area and hardly know anyone in CA, so I am definitely more nervous about this move, but – hey – it’s an opportunity to experience something new! And if there’s one thing to know about me, it’s that I’m never shy to approach a challenge or new opportunity (they’re really the same thing ;)) so I’m diving right into this one! Stay tuned for more posts about my moving journey, my transition, and what I think of sunny California!
